Central American-Dominican Republic Free Trade Agreement
The CAFTA brings together information and resources offered by the U.S. Department of Commerce and other U.S. government agencies to U.S. businesses interested in new opportunities which will be offered by the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA). This initiative is designed to open the markets of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic with this newly negotiated FTA. The Foreign Agricultural Service
The Foreign Agricultural Service is a division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) that works to improve foreign market access for U.S. products, build new markets, improve the competitive position of U.S. agriculture in the global marketplace, and provide food aid and technical assistance to foreign countries. It supports USDA's international activities such as market development, trade agreements and negotiations, and the collection and analysis of statistics and market information.
