22 The Export Import Bank of the United States in cooperation with the U. S. Department of Commerce, Small Business Administration, Overseas Investment Private Corporation and local sponsors will host an Exporter Symposium in at the CourtYard by Marriott in Danbury, Conn., for companies of all sizes who wish to learn how to "find and finance" foreign buyers to increase their sales. 28 NEXCO will sponsor a discussion on the changes in the Customs-Trade Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) initiative. This event was originally scheduled for May 10. The focus will be on making companies aware of their record-keeping responsibilities. The Connecticut District Export Council, the Connecticut Department of Economic & Community Development, and the U. S. Department of Commerce Middletown Export Assistance Center will co-sponsor a CE Marking Seminar from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the Middlesex Corporate Center, 213 Court St, Middletown. This half-day seminar is designed to help manufacturers, suppliers and other product oriented organizations better understand the benefits, challenges and implications of CE marking.
