The Monterrey and Saltillo metropolitan regions have become major automotive parts manufacturing hubs. Component manufacturers located in the area supply major automotive assembly plants nationwide. The cost to participate is $1995 per company (plus $200 for each additional person from the same company) and does not include transportation, hotel and some meals. More than 10,000 visitors are expected to attend this show in Orlando. The show is one of the 200 largest trade shows in the U.S. The International SHOPA Show is also the largest trade fair for the school and office products industry in the Americas. The seminar features Robert J. Gresham, sales manager at BAX Global in East Granby and is designed to teach small and medium-sized Connecticut companies how to prepare and process export documentation. The seminar will be repeated on October 26 at the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce in Shelton. 23 The Coalition of New England Companies for Trade is holding a networking event at Fenway Park before and during the Red Sox-Orioles game. The mission includes such services as reviewing products and services to determine their marketability, evaluating the readiness of the company to enter the market, providing trade counseling through the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service, assisting in the identification of trade partners, distributors and agents and trade leads.
